The Story
Written by the fundraiser organiser

Master Dharsith P, a 2-year-old child from Thirupattur, Tamil Nadu, has been diagnosed with a serious congenital heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF).

Tetralogy of Fallot is a complex heart condition present from birth that affects the normal flow of blood through the heart. Due to this defect, oxygen-poor blood flows into the body, making it difficult for Dharsith to breathe and grow normally.

Medical evaluation at MGM Healthcare, Chennai has confirmed that Dharsith has a large Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) along with severe obstruction in the heart’s blood flow.

Without timely treatment, this condition can become life-threatening.

Symptoms

Dharsith is currently experiencing:

  • Severe breathing difficulty
  • Persistent coughing
  • Weakness and fatigue
  • Low oxygen levels in the body

These symptoms make everyday activities extremely difficult for this little child.

Required Treatment

Doctors at MGM Healthcare, Chennai have recommended Intracardiac Repair (ICR) surgery.

This surgery will correct the structural defects in his heart and restore proper blood flow, giving Dharsith the chance to live a healthy and normal life.

However, the surgery must be performed urgently to prevent complications.

Family Background

Dharsith comes from a financially struggling family.

His parents are daily wage workers, working hard every day just to meet their basic household needs. Unfortunately, the cost of advanced heart surgery is far beyond their financial capacity.

Despite their best efforts, they are unable to arrange the funds required for the life-saving treatment.

Financial Requirement

Estimated Cost for Surgery & Hospitalization:

₹4,50,000 – ₹6,00,000

This amount includes:

  • Heart surgery
  • ICU and hospital stay
  • Medicines and medical procedures
  • Post-surgery care

How You Can Help

Your support can give Dharsith the gift of life.

Even a small contribution can bring him closer to the life-saving heart surgery he urgently needs.

Your generosity can help this little child breathe freely, grow stronger, and live a happy childhood.

❤️ Together, we can save Dharsith’s heart and future.
